The Black Student Union (BSU) is an organization that advocates the unique needs of students at Overfelt High School, while empowering, teaching, discussing and exploring the Black experience. BSU serves as a liaison between students of African descent and any other entities on campus.  This might include but is not limited to Administration, teachers, students and the community.  We strive to unite us not only in words, but in action as well. BSU fosters growth and development through diversity, academics, and community services and connection to relevant resources.
