We strive to create a safe space for Latinx students and allies to not only learn and celebrate the vast beauty of our culture, but to also contribute love and support in our community that WCO resides in. We aim to do this by empowering students to make a positive difference in our largely Latinx community because of the adversity we already face. We would like to empower our members by holding potlucks where we talk about our traditional dishes, protests against discrimination we face, looking at powerful Latino figures in media, creating merchandise for students, and much more. We look forward to help students learn and appreciate all that the Latino community provides.
